These Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by BR Waste Solution LTD ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting a quote or booking a service, you ("the customer") agree to these terms.
1. Our services
We provide waste removal and clearance services including house clearance, garden clearance, furniture removal, builders' waste removal, office clearance and general rubbish removal, as described on our website.
2. Quotes and pricing
- Prices shown on our website are guide prices only. A final quote is provided based on the volume, weight, type of waste and access.
- Quotes are valid for a reasonable period and may be revised if the actual job differs from the information provided.
- Additional charges may apply for hazardous materials, heavy items, difficult access or waste that requires special disposal.
3. Booking and payment
- A booking is confirmed once we agree a date and price with you.
- Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed, by the methods we accept.
4. Items we cannot remove
For safety and legal reasons we may be unable to remove certain hazardous items (e.g. asbestos, chemicals, clinical or certain electrical waste) without prior arrangement. Please tell us in advance if such items are involved.
5. Your responsibilities
- Ensure the waste is accurately described and that we have safe, legal access to it.
- Obtain any necessary permissions (e.g. from a landlord or building management).
- Remove any personal or valuable items you wish to keep before we begin — we are not liable for items disposed of at your instruction.
6. Waste handling and the environment
We are a registered waste carrier and dispose of all waste responsibly and lawfully, recycling wherever possible. A waste transfer note is available on request.
7. Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for cancellations made at very short notice or for wasted call-outs.
8. Liability
- We take care when carrying out our work. We are not liable for pre-existing damage or for damage that is unavoidable given the nature of the job.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the price paid for the relevant service, so far as permitted by law.
9. Consumer rights
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
